Through the Ar-Tex School of Dental Assisting you will learn the different aspects of dental assisting with hands on training by our highly qualified instructors and Dr. Neil Carmony himself. You will be trained in the latest dental technology and will be able to work in many dental fields, including Orthodontist, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, and Pediatric dentistry.
Our classes are small so you will have ample one on one training with our instructors. Being a registered dental assistant can be a very exciting and rewarding career path with plenty of room for advancement.
Meet The Doctor
The director of the Ar-Tex School of Dental Assisting is Dr. Neil W. Carmony, DDS. Dr. Carmony has been in private practice in Texarkana since 1988. Dr. Neil Carmony attended Southern Arkansas University before receiving his doctorate degree of dental surgery from University of Missouri - Kansas City College of Dentistry.
Dr. Carmony is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Southwest Arkansas Dental Association. Dr. Carmony's community involvement is largely an extension of his children's activities including sports and church programs. Dr. Carmony and his wife are active members of the Church on The Rock, Texarkana. Dr. Carmony truly feels blessed to love what he does and to be able to work with his staff and patients each day.
Dr. Carmony and his staff have been teaching and preparing students to become registered dental students since 2018.
Dr. Carmony maintains close relationships with other dental providers in order to help his assisting students fulfill their opportunities in a wonderful career in dental assisting.
Meet The Director
I have over twenty-five years of dental assisting experience with the last thirteen of it working with my husband, Dr. Neil Carmony. I love what I do and want to pass my knowledge and passion onto our students in hopes that they can have the same experience as myself of making a patient love their smile. I believe that it is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world to help others achieve their dreams and goals in life via helping them get started in a great and rewarding career.
